About us LET'S GO

Inovation method

We place a huge emphasis on innovation. We aim to inspire and nurture thinking ‘outside of the box’ by looking at how each child learns best. We consider their ideas when planning and follow child-initiated activities which we adapt accordingly. Allowing us to develop a model of continuous improvement.

Hight quality education

We have been offering high quality care and education for children since 1991. We have built and continue to develop a warm and nurturing environment with a stimulating programme of learning to provide all children with the foundations and capabilities to navigate through life and prepare for school.

Experienced Staff

All of our staff are qualified, highly professional and experienced.  We have developed a Phoenix family and our staff share the values and mission of our organisation. Our staff are committed to ongoing professional training and development on a regular basis to enhance your childs education.

Our garden area is situated at the front of the nursery which is securely enclosed away from the public, this area offers an enclosed play area for the babies, a play house, a planting area where the children are able to grow vegetables and herbs, a covered sand pit, water bubble, a picnic table and a digging patch.

Forest School

Forest School helps children to become healthy, resilient, creative and independent learners. It creates a safe, non-judgmental nurturing environment. Forest School inspires a deep and meaningful connection to the world. It develops confidence and self-esteem through learner inspired, hands-on experiences in a natural environment.

Sensory and exploration play

Sensory play has an important role in development. Our senses are sight, smell, hearing, touch, and taste. Any and all of these can be incorporated into sensory play. Sensory play supports language, fine and gross motor skills.

Montessori Ethos

Montessori is based on a deep understanding of the way children learn – through choosing, trying and doing themselves. When allied to the availability of specially developed materials in a prepared environment, and the close observation and guidance of a teacher, this leads to an enormously powerful, confidence-building approach to learning.

My child absolutely loves going to nursery and has developed at what I feel is an […]

Phoenix has helped my daughter’s progress immensely. She’s comfortable there and enjoys her nursery days so much! The staff are great and I can go to work feeling sure that she’s safe and having fun.

We are so happy with Angus’s behaviour and development since he has been at the nursery. He has a really affectionate bond with his carers and loves all the outings, and activities. The children’s committee is great and he has gained confidence from being included in decision making. The biggest issue is trying to get […]
